Northern Premier League Division One South - THE MATCH Leek Town P-P Willenhall Town - Saturday 16th January 2010 - Kick-Off 1500 The 'Big Freeze' continues to significantly affect the Non-League Football programme, with Saturday's Northern Premier League Division One South encounter with Leek Town, the latest victim of the inadequete conditions. The contest at Harrison Park was officially postponed at approximately 1200 Noon, with significant wintry conditions the culprit for the Reds' fifth consecutive postponed fixture. No Pitch Inspection was required at Harrison Park, with both clubd agreeing to the concept of chalking the fixture off on the previous day. No Re-arranged date for the fixture has been allocated as of yet. The Lockmen are yet to compete in the Northern Premier League Division One South in 2010, with the side unable to sprint the hallow turf since the 9-0 debacle at the Vic Couzens Stadium on 12th December 2009. Steve Pomroy has only gained leadership for The Reds since the beginning of December, and due to the remarkable wintry conditions, has only managed The Lockmen in three competitive fixtures. The majority of the competitive fixtures falling foul of the weather have been re-arranged this week, with The Lockmen venturing to Market Drayton Town on 2nd February 2010, Kick-Off 1945, after the original New Year's Day fixture was postponed due to a Frozen Pitch. The Reds host Mickleover Sports on Tuesday 9th February 2010, Kick-Off 1945, with November's postponed encounter with Cammell Laird re-arranged for Tuesday 21st March 2010, Kick-Off 1945. A reprieved date for the reverse fixture has been confirmed, with the Merseyside based outfit travelling to Noose Lane on 26th February 2010, Kick-Off 1945. The Lockmen intend to entertain The Pics' on Tuesday evening, Kick-Off 1945, with a Pitch Inspection to be conducted by the officials on the date of the postponed Boxing Day encounter at Noose Lane. NOTE* - Weather Permitting, The Lockmen intend to entertain the Pics' on Tuesday Evening, Kick-Off 1945, Noose Lane. Admission Fees are priced at; Adults £6.00, Concessions & U16's £3.00. All Wolves, West Brom, Birmingham City, & Aston Villa Season Ticket Holders will recieve a £2.00 discount on the Admission Fee, providing production of their respected pass at the turnstile.
