It is with regret that the committee of Willenhall Town FC have to announce that acting chairman, Ian Bridgen, will be stepping down from all Willenhall Town activities for a month, due to family illness.  The committee would like to thank Ian for all of the time and hard work he has given in our efforts to keep our club functioning over the past few difficult months.  We look forward to a time in the near future when he may be able to resume with his duties on behalf of Willenhall Town FC.

In the meantime, Les Burrows will be taking over Ian's position on a temporary basis.  It goes without saying that the committee will continue with our efforts to ensure that this club survives.  We hope that the new owners, whoever they may be, will also support us and allow us to continue playing football at Noose Lane.

It will be a very sad day for the town of Willenhall if it's football ceases to exist.
